Bosco British Shorthairs
Due to a number of major changes
in our work and family
commitments we are downscaling
our breeding programme. With my
return to university studies
this year, my two children and
currently expecting another baby
in January 2008 we have decided
to retire a number of cats and
keep our cattery selectively
small. We will continue to have
a very small number of litters
in blue, chocolate and lilac
kittens only. Keep an eye out on
our kittens page for news of
upcoming litters, or you can

Hi, and Welcome to Bosco British! We are a small family based cattery, located
just north of Newcastle in rural picturesque Raymond Terrace, in New South
Wales Australia.
Bosco was our first British Shorthair, and ironically enough we purchased him
from the RSPCA after a breeder had abandoned him. Shortly after we decided to
buy him a friend and bought a female British Shorthair for company. By then we
had been well and truly bitten by the "British Bug" and we decided to breed these amazingly beautiful cats and never looked back.
Bosco is a much loved spay pet. This site is dedicated to him and we registered
our prefix "Bosco" in tribute to him.

We are currently breeding blue and cream in solids and bicolours. We bought our
first breeding cats, both blues, and have introduced other colours since. We
have spent a great deal of time finding suitable breeding cats and a great deal
of thought has gone into the lines we are currently using. We are proud to say
that we are breeding quality cats with superb temperaments, which is extremely
important to us as part of our breeding program.
It is important to us that our cats and kittens are of sound health and
temperament as our highest priority, and as such we breed for QUALITY first,
NOT quantity. Our breeding cats are as much a member of our family and are
treated as our loved pets.
We are registered breeders of British Shorthair, and are registered with the
NSW Cat Fanciers Association, (NSWCFA), and with the British Shorthair Cat
